Waking Up Feeling Energised and Productive





HOW TO WAKE UP FEELING ENERGISED, HAPPIER AND PRODUCTIVE.
We all know that dreaded feeling of knowing we have to wake at ungodly hours the next morning. 
How do we change our tune? To look forward to those early mornings and to not feel like we have to drag ourselves out of bed when we do?
Here's my solution. 





WEARING

I used to hate mornings. In fact, i used to stay up late in the evenings to ridiculous hours just to prolong going to bed and waking up the next day. Lazy, right? That was me!
Since leaving uni a few years ago i got my priorities in order and managed to change my way of thinking and to be honest, i've never felt happier or more productive!
Here's my 4 tips.

1. Keep the right diet
This one is kinda a biggie. Eating a healthy and nutrient sufficient diet is SO important to feel energised not only in the morning but all day long. You will often find that if you're not eating properly you will feel 13728271923 times more tired.
Oh and with that... water. DRINK DRINK DRINK! Staying hydrated is key in feeling less tired, more productive happier AND healthier. Not bad for tasteless liquid hey!

2. Don't waste your most productive hours. 
Living in the North of Australia lately i've realised that after 9am its hard to get things done from the heat, so getting up at 5am (don't worry the suns already up) seems the done thing! I don't even have to set an alarm anymore. By 4:50 I'm bright eyes and bushy tailed ready to take the dog for a morning walk and i tell you what, everyone else is doing the same! I love it!

3. Turn off your devices. 
Yep that means your phone. Leave it in the kitchen when you go to bed. Not only will that help you shut off completely and get a solid night sleep but it will give you a reason to get out of bed and get dressed in the morning.

4. Plan your days.
I know I'm not the only one that has lay in bed thinking 'whats the point? I'm not doing anything today!"
We need to change this attitude. Plan something fun to do the next day like go for coffee or head to the beach for a swim! You'll wake up feeling excited for the day ahead.
