Last Friday i had the absolute pleasure of attending Yeltuor's runway show at their Launceston store. The theme of the night was Wonderland- a theme sure to get the attention of the people of the town, young and old. There was a great turnout to the night, with a constant stream rolling through the doors, though whether it was the great fashion of offer, the $25 voucher on entry or the rich smell of popcorn drawing them in.
Oh yes, you read that right. The Wonderland theme continued on to the food which was scattered throughout the store, from champagne in jars with stripey stores, to cupcakes with sprinkle icing and popcorn.

While this was the first even I've attended in Launceston i was incredibly excited to discover new Austarlian labels and see the new collections of some of my favourite brands including Style Stalker, May, Alice McCall, Cooper St, Three of Something, Elliatt and Finders Keepers. While watching backstage as a the whole Wonderland was created, with fantastic make up artists from Mint Relax Revival, lovely models and bold decorations, this was set to be the highlight of my entire week.
And honestly, it was. I was really impressed with the gorgeous designs and bold colours that these designers had decided to play with for the up and coming season.

Overall the whole evening was a huge success as a couple of hundred viewers shopped and filled their bellies with cupcakes and champagne at the after party-get together, and as my feet began to ache in my 3 inch ASOS heels the night drew to a close and we began our walk home, cupcake in one hand, shoes in the other.
